We get to see happy, smiling faces every day in our gym. It’s one of the many perks of the job. Even the Monday 6am class eventually break out their smiles!
Scientists will say it's the release of endorphins and the production of neurotransmitters like serotonin and norepinephrine which basically causes your brain to reinforce feelings of positivity and happiness when you exercise.
But of course that doesn't paint the whole picture as it doesn't give appropriate credit to the social benefits of exercising with other like minded people.
The great thing is that our gym is full of normal people having fun with their fitness.
So if you can smile, you can do CrossFit.
